5th Grade Girls “C”

Kacey Fleming had 4 points and Julia Marinelli  hit the game winning shot in double overtime to lead OLSS past St. Christophers    6-4 in a 5th grade girls C Division contest.  

01/6 – 01/08

5th Grade C Girls

Isabella DelGiorno and Nicolette Esposito combined for 5 points to pace OLSS past St. Christopher”s 11-7. DelGiorno also dominated defensively to secure the victory.

7th Grade A Boys

Steve Lam and Mike Matrangelo combined for 26 points, Brandon Wren and James Schnieder led the way defensively as OLSS defeated Blessed Sacrament 51-32. The win ups their record to 10-0 on the season.

11/25 – 11/27

7th Grade A Boys

Brandon Abrams had 8 points in the 4th Quarter, total of 10 for the game, Mike Matrangelo tallied 18 points to lead OLSS to a convincing 53-21 win over Holy Family, pushing their record to 4-0 for the season.

5th Grade C Girls

Julianna Grillo poured in 4 points  to lead OLSS past Holy Rosary 8-6 in a 5th grade girls C division contest.  Erin Hanley starred defensively to secure the victory.  The win improves their record to 3-1 for the season.

11/18 – 11/20

7th Grade A Boys

Mike Matrangelo and Brandon Wren combined for 29 points, to lead OLSS to a 52 – 40 win over St.Teresa. The win pushes the team to a 3 -0 record on the season.

6th Grade B Boys

Anthony Robles, Hughey Quinn, and Anthony Messina combined for 25 points to pace OLSS to a 43-13 win over Holy Rosary in 6th grade boys B action. John Perrotta, Joe Capano, Matt Piccione and Mark Giudice all played stellar defense in the complete team win.  

11/11 – 11/13

5th Grade Girls

Julia Marinelli and Serena Ruocchio each scored six points to lead OLSS past Holy Child 22-6 in 5th grade girls division C action. Caitlin Gleavy also helped with 4 points while Julianna Grillo, Samantha Monteforte and Isabella DelGiorno all added a basket.
